Great experience

I took some lessons with Fabian and it was great. He is a very relaxed guy who gives good and helpful advice. I really enjoyed my classes and can only recommend!

Great and safe teacher

Fabien taught us our first ever kitesurf lessons. We felt very safe and learned the basics of kitesurfing thanks to him. He gives very clear guidelines, knows how to adapt to each one’s personality, and while he teaches us to stay safe he also allows us to have some fun :) thanks Fabien ‘

📌 Comments to Level 1–3

The steps listed above also form the basis for the IKO certification, which we issue at KLKS at the end of the course. While we follow the international standard, we deliberately adapt the training to our environment, the conditions, and the individual learning pace of each student.

For example, we avoid unnecessary repetitions – such as early practicing of launching and landing as a pilot – when this still requires advanced kite control. Instead, we introduce these elements later in the course, typically at the end of the first day, once the basic steering exercises have been completed.

Theoretical topics like the wind window are only briefly explained on the beach, since these concepts are abstract and difficult to grasp before actually flying a kite. If desired, students receive a well-prepared, illustrated YouTube video before the course, where wind window, power zone, and kite dynamics are explained visually.

Our mission is to train students as efficiently and practically as possible (learning by doing) – with the clear goal of guiding them towards independence on the water quickly, but above all safely and sustainably.
